Meet Dr. Muallem

Marcus Muallem, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Grand Rapids Ophthalmology. Dr. Muallem specializes in cataracts, cornea, and glaucoma.

Dr. Muallem earned his Bachelor of Medical Science degree from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School and his Master of Ophthalmology degree from Tel Aviv University.

He earned his medical degree from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School and then pursued a glaucoma fellowship and an external-corneal disease fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institiute.

He is a member of Member of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, Israel Ophthalmology Society, and Israel Society for Eye & Vision Research.

He is conversant in Arabic and Hebrew.
