Thomas Cowden, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, serving patients in the Grand Rapids area. He specializes in cornea, external disease, LASIK, and cataracts.
Dr. Cowden earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Michigan and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University. He completed an internship at St. John’s Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at University of Wisconsin. He completed a Corna/External Disease/Refractive Surgery fellowship at University of Minnesota.
Dr. Cowden is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Medical Association, Internal Society of Refractive Surgery, and National Board of Medical Examiners.
